The Plugable USB-C Stand Dock goes beyond just holding up an iPad so the display can be seen — it’s also an 8-port hub with HDMI, two USB-A ports and many more.
The design reduces clutter on the user’s desk. And the stand/hub is also portable.

Plugable USB-C Stand Dock is two useful accessories in one
iPads have long supported a wide range of external ports, adding to the tablet’s usefulness. And the new iPadOS 16 enables high-end models with M-series processors to make full use of external displays. It’s reached the point where an iPad can be a light-duty desktop.
That takes additional accessories, of course. And the Plugable USB-C Stand Dock is designed for just that purpose.
Like any good stand, it’s adjustable so the the screen and front-facing camera can be pointed toward the user. “Despite its compact size, the stand still has enough heft to hoist your 12.9” iPad Pro and enough tension to stay put when tapping the screen,” promises Plugable.
Once the USB-C Stand Dock is plugged into the iPad’s USB-C port, the tablet can access the built-in 8-port hub. That includes an HDMI port that supports up to 4K at 30 Hz, two USB 3.0 (5 Gbps) ports, SD and microSD readers, and an audio input/output jack. Plus there’s 100W pass-through charging of the host computer.
While the product can be a simple desk accessory, it can also be used when traveling. It’s primarily made of aluminum, weighs 1.3 pounds and folds flat for transport. The dimensions are 9.1 inches by 6.0 in. by 2.0 in.
