Take up rocket-powered water racing in Riptide GP: Renegade+
Nothing gets the heart pumping like a good racing game. Riptide GP: Renegade+ challenges players to try hydrojet racing at breakneck speeds, alone or in groups of up to eight.
The game from Vector Unit first debuted several years ago, and was named an App Store Best of 2016. Starting Friday, it’s included with the Apple Arcade subscriptions service for iPhone and other Apple devices.
Risk your neck in Riptide GP: Renegade+
Why race on asphalt when there are so many rivers and canals you can rocket down at insane speeds? Though not many real waterways are jam packed with dangerous hazards like the ones in Riptide GP: Renegade+.
Players take up hydrojet racing, which requires riders to pull off death-defying stunts over massive waterfalls while driving at top speeds across surging waves.
Rocket through floating factories, a hurricane and even a military base. Tracks offer plenty of shortcuts, secrets and interactive obstacles. To add to the excitement, the sport is illegal so dodging police is required.
Riptide GP: Renegade+ offers single-player career mode to unlock new vehicles, playable characters and customization features. Once the player has built up their skills, it’s time to take part in 8-player online matches.

Now on Apple Arcade
Riptide GP: Renegade+ from Vector Unit is now in the Apple Arcade section of the App Store. It’s playable on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV but not Mac. External game controllers are an option for any of the supported platforms.
Playing comes with a $4.99-per-month subscription to Apple’s gaming service, which also brings access to 200+ games already in the service. That includes the recent additions Castle Crumble and Squiggle Drop.
The original version of Riptide GP: Renegade is still available in the App Store for those who don’t want to join Apple Arcade. It cost $2.99.
