Apple is said to be preparing an impressive battery boost for its upcoming iPhone 15 series. According to a supposed Foxconn worker speaking to ITHome, Apple is looking to improve the battery life of all four models set to debut in September. The rumored battery capacities for the iPhone 15 could be as high as 3,877 mAh, the highest of any iPhone ever released.
Along with the new battery capacities, Apple is expected to offer an improved LiDAR sensor and A17 Bionic chip for the Pro models. This comes with a new 3nm technology process that could offer higher speeds and more efficient power consumption. The regular iPhone 15 models will also have a design change, with a Dynamic Island cutout in the front and a new matte finish in the back.
We have already heard a lot of rumors about the new iPhone 15 series, including price changes, new components, improved processors, and cameras. With just two months until the new models are expected to be announced, we’ll have to wait to see if the rumors are true.
