- Turn your USB-C iPad into a larger display for your Nintendo Switch
- Must have an iPad running iPadOS 17 and a USB-C video capture card
- Capture Pro app available via TestFlight
Using an iPad to act as a larger display for your Nintendo Switch is a neat way to make the most of your gaming experience. With an iPad running iPadOS 17 and a USB-C video capture card, you can make the connection. You will also need an HDMI cable and the Capture Pro app, which is available via TestFlight. Dan Barbera, videographer for MacRumors, demonstrates the setup process in his latest video.
This setup process is not exclusive to Nintendo Switch. Any console can be used with the iPad. The USB-C Lightning models unfortunately cannot support the feature, as a specific dongle is required. If you’re interested in trying this out, make sure you have your USB-C iPad and the USB-C video capture card ready before you get started.
