- Apple will hold a special event on September 12 to introduce the iPhone 15 lineup and Apple Watch Series 9
- Apple Watch Link Bracelet, Modern Buckle bands, and Hermès models are currently unavailable on Apple’s website
- Apple Watch Series 9 to have faster chip and same design as current versions
Apple this week confirmed that it will hold a special event on September 12 to introduce the iPhone 15 lineup and Apple Watch Series 9. To corroborate the upcoming arrival of new Apple Watches, some watch bands are currently unavailable on Apple’s website. All four versions of the Apple Watch Link Bracelet, Modern Buckle bands, and some of the Hermès models are now sold out.
Typically, Apple introduces new bands with the launch of a new Apple Watch, so the sold out bands suggest that Apple may discontinue the Link Bracelet or relaunch it in new shades of silver and black. According to the rumors, the Apple Watch Series 9 won’t exactly be an exciting update, with a faster chip being the only new feature. Apple also plans to introduce a new Apple Watch Ultra with the same faster chip but same design as the current versions.
