  • The USB-C port will make the battery pack more versatile.

Apple’s Wonderlust event on Tuesday is set to introduce us to the next-gen MagSafe Battery Pack. Reports claim that Apple will make a big deal about how great the USB-C port will be for iPhone users. According to industry rumors, Apple is developing a version of the battery pack which may have the ability to “daisy chain” multiple batteries and charge two iPhones simultaneously. The $99 MagSafe Battery Pack currently powers via Lightning and attaches via MagSafe magnets to the back of your iPhone to provide extra juice when needed.

The new USB-C port will turn the MagSafe Battery Pack into an external battery pack that may support additional devices. Additionally, USB-C wired charging may offer faster speeds than MagSafe charging, while still looking great. This is exciting news for Apple fans, as the USB-C MagSafe Battery Pack brings versatility and convenience.
