According to industry rumors, Apple is developing a version of the battery pack which may have the ability to “daisy chain” multiple batteries and charge two iPhones simultaneously. The $99 MagSafe Battery Pack currently powers via Lightning and attaches via MagSafe magnets to the back of your iPhone to provide extra juice when needed.
The new USB-C port will turn the MagSafe Battery Pack into an external battery pack that may support additional devices.
